G04 / TRAVEL BASICS

Storing your luggage

Check size limits and collection conditions as well as the location.

01

Ask your accommodation first

Before heading out, ask whether your accommodation can store your bags. Even guest services may have restrictions on times and items. Explain when you intend to collect them and confirm availability before planning your day.

02

Look for official storage information

Use station maps or official facility information to find lockers and staffed storage. A location on a map does not mean space is available. If you cannot find an option, show the luggage card to staff and ask for help.

03

Check the size and collection conditions

Confirm that your bag fits, how to pay, when you can collect it and what happens if storage runs into another day. Check the operator’s current prices and restrictions. Building access hours may also limit when you can reach a locker.

04

Keep your collection details with you

Keep keys and claim tickets with you, outside the stored bag. Record the location for yourself and leave time to return. Read the operator’s rules about valuables and items that cannot be stored.
