Practical Information for a Seamless Visit
Access by Tram
- From Hiroshima Station: Take tram line 1, 2, or 6 and get off at “Kamiya-cho-higashi” stop. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to Hiroshima Castle. The tram ride takes about 15 minutes and costs approximately 190 yen.
Access by Bus
- From Hiroshima Airport: Take the airport limousine bus to Hiroshima Station (about 45 minutes, 1,340 yen), then follow the directions above.
Access by Car
- From Hiroshima Station: It’s about a 10-minute drive from Hiroshima Station to Hiroshima Castle. Please note that parking in the area is limited.
The castle is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (last entry at 5:30 PM), and the entrance fee is 370 yen for adults and 180 yen for high school students. Children and Hiroshima residents can enter for free.
