Access

By Air:

  • Tokushima Awaodori Airport operates several flights daily from Tokyo and other major cities. The airport is a 30-minute bus ride from the city center.

By Train:

  • From Tokyo or Osaka, take the JR Shinkansen to Okayama, then transfer to the JR Seto-Ohashi Line for Takamatsu. From Takamatsu, the JR Kotoku Line goes to Tokushima.

By Bus:

  • Highway buses from major cities like Tokyo, Osaka, and Kobe run several times daily to Tokushima Station. This is a more budget-friendly option, but travel times are longer.

By Ferry:

  • There are regular ferries to Tokushima from Wakayama and Kobe, offering a scenic alternative for reaching the prefecture.
