By Train
– Hakata Station is a major railway hub in Kyushu. It’s served by the Shinkansen (bullet train), offering direct connections to major cities like Tokyo, Osaka, and Hiroshima. The journey from Tokyo to Hakata takes about 5 hours on the Nozomi Shinkansen.
By Bus
- Long-distance buses connect Fukuoka with other cities in Kyushu and throughout Japan. The Hakata Bus Terminal is located adjacent to Hakata Station.

- Fukuoka City has ferry connections with various destinations, including Busan in South Korea. The Hakata Port International Terminal is about a 15-minute drive from Hakata Station.
